Mr. Anklowitz grew up on the family farm in New Jersey. When is parents divorced in the early 1970's, he moved to Colorado with his mother where he spent years on ranches learning the value of hard work and responsibility. His father, a former stock broker, opened a local liquor store and tavern near Princeton in the late 1970's. There, he not only learned to mix a good drink, but learned about business. For 20 years, his father taught him the meaning of business and how to treat customers.
All of those years on farms, ranches, and behind the oak bar, taught him something else... the value and importance of community. Mr. Anklowitz carries these values with him to this day. He was a selected to be a member of the Legislative Committee for the Sachem School Board. He volunteers with Kiwanis and is currently seeking membership with the Sons of the American Legion.
Mr. Anklowitz lives in Suffolk County with his expectant wife (due in February ‘08), step-son, and his faithful dog "Shakespeare".
